Before you sign up, I'll confirm the Basic check-in format, support arrangements, battery and consumable costs, and whether any AI provider usage charges are included or separate.
Think of a straightforward routine such as a motion sensor turning a light on, or a lamp following a schedule. The exact devices, conditions and routines included in your package are agreed in the quote. Multi-room logic, exceptions and more involved integrations may need extra setup.
The Single room package includes 1–2 simple automations. Larger packages include more, with the number and scope confirmed before work begins.
The auto-lock scene demonstrates what compatible equipment can do; it is not a promise that a lock will fit every door or that lock fitting is included in a standard package.
If you want this feature, ask me first. We'll check your door and hardware, agree whether the job involves fitting, integration or both, and confirm who will carry out any specialist work.
Selecting wired smart switches flags an electrician requirement in your estimate. Electrical work is quoted separately. The other listed options cover plug-in devices, battery sensors, replacement bulbs and compatible retrofit radiator heads. Boiler wiring, new sockets and other fixed electrical work are outside this standard setup.
Tell me what you have and what you'd like it to do. I'll check compatibility before recommending replacements. Not every device works with every hub, and Alexa, Google and Home Assistant offer different levels of control.
A Northstar care plan is optional. Local-first setups can keep suitable functions running within your home, but internet-dependent devices, voice services and remote access may stop during an outage. I'll explain those limits for the equipment you choose.
Your accounts and equipment remain yours. Any required subscriptions are explained before you commit.
